Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba, has told teammates and the club’s chief executive, Ed Woodward, that he is desperate to
leave and wants to join Barcelona.
Pogba made it clear that he has become disillusioned with life under manager Jose Mourinho.
According to The Daily Mail, the Frenchman has agreed terms with Barcelona on a deal worth £89.5m over five years.
When his agent, Mino Raiola, was contacted, he simply said: “I will never make declarations about Paul. You have to speak to Manchester United.”
Pogba is believed to be unhappy with some of Mourinho’s comments, made during the club’s pre-season tour of the United States.
In an interview two weeks ago, Mourinho questioned why Pogba’s performances at the World Cup, were so much better than his displays for United last season.
