Manchester United star, Paul Pogba wants to leave the club and return to Juventus in January.
Should Pogba complete the shock return to Juventus, he would play for the Italian club in the Champions League as UEFA has removed the ‘cup-tied’ rule from their competitions this season.
United have been drawn alongside Juventus, Valencia and Young Boys in Group H of the competition.
Pogba was re-signed by Manchester United from Juventus for £89 million just over two years ago.
The 25-year-old midfielder has, however, struggled for consistency during his two seasons under United boss Jose Mourinho.
Pogba was involved in a heated burst-up with Mourinho last term, which led him to be dropped from the first team.
Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, reports that the French midfielder’s poor relationship with Mourinho is the driving force behind his desire to leave Old Trafford.
According to the newspaper, the midfielder is planning a return to his former club where he would link up with Cristiano Ronaldo.
